How do you call a Blue???

Just like the title says ..how do you call a blue to a thread?

It may be helpful to ask your question or express your concern first.  Blues get involved in threads.  You need a thread going first.

To call a blue

use @and then their name..........no space between @ and name........a dropdown will "suggest" once you've typed a couple of letters.......  the name will be blue.........

 usual ones are Trinton, Doug, Tyler, Brian.T

Yes,

I've been on these boards a long time.

It was extremely rare to get an eBay employee to join in a discussion back then.

Now, many of us are very impressed at the dedication they show to these boards.

Many of us feel it's best to handle eBay problems at their lowest level, without calling a blue.  I'd say 99% of the time, or more, most problems can be handled by boardies here.

Yep. If they get overwhelmed with noise and summons for stupid reasons they may stop responding when really needed.

Great answers but does not solve the problem.  Some of us are not able to ship a 16 oz (15.9 ounce) package at first class rate.  It reverts to 1 lb and charges priority.

I've been on the boards a long time as well. I remember when every board had its own resident "pink" and they interacted with posts a lot. The Auction board pink was Jerry. The payments board was Damon who  worked for PayPal.

I do agree that lots of problems can be figured out by boardies but when the Lithium mods step in and neuter a post so badly that you can't research it to help then perhaps it is time to call in a blue.

They probably turned off their notices for awhile---I think I would.  There is one newish poster that has been tagging every one of them on most of his posts.   I think he just wanted them to come over and play.

They can easily solve minor or even medium weight problems in a jif but remember these are ebay employees, they are not necessarily looking out for you first.
