Hi! I sold an item that a buyer bought on the 11th of December. Her recieved the item on the 19th of December but the funds are blocked until the 26th of December. The funds for this sale have been on hold/blocked since the 19th of December. The funds are not available nor are they "in process"
It states that if I change the frequency of payments bimonthly or weekly instead of daily, I can choose the option "payments on request"
It state I quote: "
"Request for payments
What funds can I apply for?
You can request your available funds at any time, excluding funds that are blocked or being processed.
How long does it take to receive funds after a payment?
In general, payments arrive in your bank account within 1-3 business days.
What happens if I don't apply for my funds?
If you have not opted in to scheduled installments, funds will automatically be paid 180 days after the last date we credited your account."
"Payments on request
Need your funds sooner? Receive your payments before the due date."
But even thoughh I changed the frequency of payments to monthly instead of daily, I still can't transfer my blocked funds that should be available directly to my bank account
On other websites/platforms i.e Vinted, as soon as the buyer recieves the item sold, you can transfer the money into your bank account straight away or whenever you want but here on Ebay you can't.
How do I transfer my funds on Ebay directly to my account whenever I want? Because it's Ebay that automatically transfers my funds to my bank account when THEY decide to.

You are in France and probably best to ask on an EU board, as the rules may be different........
Here, Ebay may hold payments for various reasons for various time periods. New sellers may get holds to insure the buyer is happy with the article..........and so that may extend longer than the receipt date.....

Hello and Joyeux Noel
You are a new seller.
New or infrequent sellers will experience transaction holds while learning best selling practices. This helps sellers become established and build a strong selling history on eBay. New sellers typically experience holds for up to 14 days, although sometimes it may be longer.
The money is on hold to make sure that the transaction went successfully and if there is problem or a claim filed, the funds will be there to refund the buyer. It's Ebays Money Back Guarantee offered to all buyers.
Have a great holiday!

When you're a new seller, the managed payment system will hold your funds longer to make sure that everything is OK. Once you build up the trus on the platform, the r4elease of the funds will be much quicker.
Just hang in there. They have already given you a release date & you should see the funds soon, assuming there aren't any delays by your financial instituiotn in accepting the funds.
Good luck!
