How do I get clothing authenticated

I have a Gucci sweatshirt that I know is authentic because it was personally purchased by a friend.

Is there a way to have the sweatshirt inspected and have proof of authenticity?

I don't see a  program offered by eBay on clothing.

If I get validation from an independent Gucci representative will this be acceptable to sell on eBay?

Not sure what I need to do or even where to go for answers.  Any suggestions?

You may want to take the pictures to the Fashion board, they could at least point you in the right direction.

I have not heard of the fashion board before.

Without sounding ignorant is this a service through eBay?  I usually don't sell high end clothing and am not familiar with the process.

As said above the experts on the fashion board can help you identify fake/authentic, but eBay does not have an authenticity program for clothing.

I do not think eBay will "accept" or "reject" your item based on whether you claim to have validation from an "independent Gucci representative".
