How buyer's can save money by doing this

Buyer's if you buy something. And if you can find anything wrong that the seller didn't mention in the listing you can request a return or a partial return.
EBay will hold the seller's funds till they meet the buyer's request. Do a partial return that way you can keep the product and get some money back too.
So look for any little defect you can find  take a picture of it and let the seller know. If the seller doesn't do anything. File a refund request.

Nothing new there.

Think you will find all that in the "how to get free stuff on eBay" book.

The scammers are way ahead of sellers on eBay.

For those unable to read there are you tube videos.

Re: How buyer's can save money by doing this

Certainly buyers can do that, the question is how many will..... I think the vast majority don't have the time for games like that......they spend their time finding the item they want and to fish for a partial might work......but if the majority of sellers will only do full returns, it will cut out alot of it.

I do recognize that sometimes sellers do make mistakes in not seeing a defect and gladly will do a partial refund under those circumstances........I certainly have.

I sincerely hope that your buyers do not read this post and more importantly do not follow your advice when buying from you.

Re: How buyer's can save money by doing this

This seller doesn't give out partial refunds unless it's in this sellers best interests AND because the issue was caused by this seller's error.

If you are just a buyer fishing for a partial refund you will need to go elsewhere as all you are going to hear is "here's a return label, send it back for a full refund" over and over again.

Gotta be trolling...

Posting on the "Selling" board on how to use the eBay MBG? No other explanation!

If you have never owned a dachshund, no explanation is possible.
If you have owned a dachshund, no explanation is necessary.

Well I guess we all know whose user name will be going on their block bidder/buyer list!

My take is the post is sarcasm:  It happened to them.  At least I hope so!  Did they post this on the Buying category?  Otherwise, they're getting sloppy.

^^^ In case you didn't know, buyers don't even have to go to all that trouble.
