While trying to list something, I get:
System Error Try Again Some Time
What the heck does "some time" mean?

I haven't seen that message come up, it does sound funny.
My guess would be in a few hours or who knows? Even the bots have a sense of humor.😅

It means to be patient and wait until it gets fixed. Whatever the problem they cannot give you exact time of 6 minutes 23 seconds it will be OK.

It doesn't have anything to do with patience; my point was the use of "some time." There is no excuse for seeing some nonsensical phrase like that in conjunction with "System Warning."
I used the standard ebay workaround; I just hit refresh a few times. Then some time became real time.
And, a sense of humor is a good thing to have. Especially when reading my posts. Some time.

Some time can also mean NEVER! 😄

MR. YUNIOSHI: WHEN?
HOLLY GOLIGHTLY: SOMETIME.

Well, you're dealing with code written by programmers for whom English may not be their first language, put into Production use without any apparent peer review or even proofreading in some cases. I've seen worse here: bad grammar, misspelled words, incoherent warning messages, etc. Strange wording like this is pretty much par for the course.
It reminds of me of a work zone sign I came across on the highway near here once, one of those big programmable LED message signs, and the urgent warning message, in its entirety, was:
VARIOUS
DELAYS
AHEAD
Yeah, that pretty much covers it.

True, it will keep some from freaking out over a word instead of a specific time from pulled from a hat.
