Help from a human

So now a seller has to pay an exorbitant rate to talk to a human being for help by having the expensive store. Otherwise, you're screwed and have to go through the labyrinth confusing and usually unhelpful channels that are frustrating and ineffective. No matter what kind of seller you are, we all are making money for E-Bay and their unwillingness to have a real live person speak with us about a problem ONLY IF WE PAY FOR IT is beyond egregious. Every single sale makes them money and is a real insult and slap in the face to us who really can't afford to spend hundreds on a store. Shame.

You CAN talk to ebay on the phone; have them call you (although usually not helpful) so best to just talk to reps on facebook (ebay for business); those reps can do things (if it's do-able).

If you want to complain about

holds

buyer return

low sales

NOBODY on the planet can help you with any of those things...they are automated and are what they are.

@tobyjill22

eBay does not charge for customer service.

If you have been asked to pay for, or provide payment details, to get customer service, then you were talking to scammers, not eBay customer service.

It has not been possible to telephone eBay directly for well over two years, and eBay never has charged for a call.

Evidently you found some telephone number on the web and phoned it.  ALL such numbers lead directly to scammers, and I hope to goodness you did not give them your eBay account info, personal info, or credit card info.

I think the OP is talking about only the anchor or enterprise stores supposedly having concierge CS, i.e., the expensive stores.
