How do I find out about or search eBay Product Identification (ePID) numbers? I purchased an auto part based on what the seller showed in the Item Specific section that was one brand but received a different brand so I wanted to compare what the seller has listed using the eBay Product Identifier number in the Item Specifics section of their listing. Thank you.

Never heard of a ePID- are you talking the 12 digit item number shown down about 1/3 of the way on the right side of each item? If so, you just put that number in the search box and it will come up (there can be only 1 of these items as each listing is given a different number)

Go to create listing, if the listing you bought had a UPC code then enter that there and it will show you the info. You should also be able to see it on the ended listing page as well.
If no UPC you can enter the part info and get all items in the catalog but you wouldn't know which they selected. They used to show ePid on the listing but took that section off.

Normally, anything in Item Specifics is searchable. I ran a few test searches. It appears that searching by the PID always returns zero search results. You will need to run your searches with:
Brand and Manufacturer Part Number
UPC Code
Interchange Part Number

Ok so in an item description there is a box of information that is called "item specifics" and a box of information called "about this item".
Like the "item specifics" box the "about this item" box also contains things like the items Manufacturer Brand, Mfgr Part Number etc, it also contains an article titled "eBay Item ID (ePID)" and it lists a number.
I've never noticed it before but seems unsearchable.

It's not a UPC. Its called a eBay Product Identification number and abbreviated (ePID). Its listed in the "about this item" box on a listing.

I made a mistake. The eBay Product Identification number is listed in the "about this item" box under the "item specifics" box. Its under like the Manufacture Brand , Mfgr Part Number, Etc. I hope this makes sense. Thanks

ePID, eBay Product Identification Number. Its a thing, I'm not making this up. I put the eBay item I'm asking about inside of some brackets [ ] at the end of my post. In the "about this item" box under the 'Item specifics" box are several sets of data. The top set is: Manufacturer Brand, Manufacturer Part Number, then eBay Product Identification number.
