I sold a LV authentic bag to a buyer, (the bag strip was spotted a little since it was rained a few years ago)
I took serious pics in my listing and stated the strip problem, also stated no returnable and refundable item.
this buyer bought the bag and cut and ripped the strips, and took photos claiming arriving damaged! unbelievable.
I called Ebay and tried to ask for opinions and they said ebay will not investigate the case and cannot tell whether the item is damaged when arrived. So if buyer request return ebay will issue return label and return to seller, and paypal will be refund to buyer.
Anyone know how should I deal with such a case as a seller?

I am further confused, I am looking at your listing where you have a LV bag listed as Local Pickup Only.
If so you're in good shape (even if you shipped it) as another whole set of rules takes place, specifically on Ebay "Local Pickup Only" sales are final the instant the transaction is completed (once you have the buyer's money and the buyer has left your premises the sale is over and done, there are no returns for Local Pickup Items as they are not covered per the MBG).
Way Ebay sees things, buyers have all the opportunity to carefully inspect items picked up in person in as much detail as they want so once they make the choice to buy the item it becomes theirs for good.

Ignore that person that said this was bad advice. This is common sense. It is what I tell my buyers if I feel they are scammers. It also reduces bad feedback from my experience. I've been lucky not to get many but as a Top Rated Seller, they often prey on the newbies is my guess.
Blessings, so sorry you are going thru this

There was no money stolen. There is a buyer who claims damage and wants to return the purchase and their money back.
There is no provable crime here. It's all hearsay in the eyes of the law. The police consider this an ebay transaction.

What I do know is that if you ignore the case or refuse a refund then ebay may give the buyer their money back and let them keep the purse.
Ebay's no returns doesn't apply under not as described.
I am not saying that I don't believe you, but ebay has their own rules and if a scammer is intent on deception, they can and do abuse the ebay policies protocols without culpability sometimes.
