Help. Really weird situation

So I had a sale this morning. Went to PP to confirm and printed out the packing slip.

This afternoon the transaction is sitting in PP but when I click on the details it says "oops that page doesn't exist". Called PP and the rep said they can't even see that transaction on my account. She 'thinks' it was cancelled.

Okay, fair enough BUT ebay still claims I've been paid and expects me to ship it out (not happening).

So what now?

Give it 24 hours and it should all be clear.

I have the same issue right now "page does not exist". 

I did get an email from Paypal earlier when the item sold that I had been paid.

Do you think maybe it's just a Paypal glitch?

I sure hope so but it's weird the rep couldn't even see the transaction when I can.

eta: I have 2 day handling so at least I have a bit of wiggle room before I have to ship it.

Hopefully we will check Paypal in the morning and everything will look right.  When you look at your totals on Paypal is the money accounted for? On mine, the money is there (at least for now).  BTW, My only other sale today looks fine on Paypal....

Yep, the balance includes the money for this sale.

Have you checked the PayPal discussion forum? Other members might be reporting the same or a similar problem.

I had an order earlier today and it was working fine then.

Had another order this afternoon and got the error page when checking the transaction.

I just checked the first order from today that worked fine and it is showing the error page now.

I've had one since which is showing fine but the 'problem' one is still "missing"

Well now that is downright scary.  Cancelled by whom?  That isn't allowed.  

If Ebay deemed the transaction an issue, they do NOT refund the money.

If PP deems there is an issue with the payment, they put it on hold and investigate.

Who in the heck would be able to cancel it?  The buyer?  OMG just think of all the payments that would get cancelled after we shipped if this was allowed!!!!  This is stuff nightmares are made of.

Well that is good.  I hadn't read this far when I posted my initial response.  This sound more like a site issue that will hopefully self correct in the next few hours.  

If it hasn't by morning, I'd call PP again and see what they say.

Did you get an email notification of the payment?  I always get those and I save them in my emails.

mam, it's now back looking like a normal transaction.

What worries me is that the PP rep told me the buyer must have cancelled it. I also didn't think that was possible.

PayPal rep is probably trained at the same facility as the ebay reps. LOL.

I know.  I read your post just before going to bed last night.  I had nightmares!!!!  

I'm glad things are appearing as they should.  Hopefully that glitch never returns.
