Best Match placement is a complex scoring system that considers dozens - if not hundreds - of factors when coming up with the "score" that is used to determine an item's placement in Best Match searches.
So the simply answer is yes, pretty much everything about your listing affects Best Match placement.
But as to whether having a handling time of 3 days vs. 1 day would significantly impact Best Match placement, my guess would be no.
