Handling time

Where do we look on a listing to see a seller's actual handling time?

Re: Handling time

You cannot.  You will lnot find out anything until after they have shipped.  And then you will only notice that the package took a while to arrive.

But, if you only buy from top rated sellers you will know they have to ship within twenty-four hours.

Thanks.  However, I think the 24 hour thing just might be for those top sellers who are aiming for their discount.

Re: Handling time

I ship 99.9% of lmy items on two sites within 24 hours.

Discount?  Those pennies you speak of

I do it because I have repeat customers who I very much want to keep.

Re: Handling time

You'll only see them for sellers who have an extended handling time. It will be located underneath the buy buttons. I believe an extended handling time would be considered more than three days.

That’s ONLY for TRS+ listings, and 1-day handling gives them until the END of the next business day, not 24 hours. Hasn’t changed.

Re: Handling time

Short answer - you can't (now).

eBay decided that even though every seller HAS to enter a handling time when listing, THEY have chosen not to show it on the listing.

Re: Handling time

I have one (business) day set as my handling time, but that's because I live two blocks from the Post Office and get great service there.

Re: Handling time

Yes, you can SET it, but no-one can see it.

I can see it on the Professor's listings, they have 1 day handling, it's on the shipping tab.

I agree that it doesn't always show if you have 1 or 2 day handling but it often will be displayed regardless of the number of days (more than 3 days seem to always show and also has the flag on thr main page).

I've never figured out why it shows on some listings but not on others.

And I just looked at 3 or 4 of that same person's listings and on the shipping tab there is no section for Handling Time and no handling time is shown anywhere that I could see.

I wonder if it depends on what you are using to view the listings? I'm viewing on a computer with the latest version of Firefox.

Re: Handling time

If you really are curious about their handling time, you can look at it on ebay. ca. It is still shown there under the delivery estimate and also under the shipping tab.
