Memorial Day originally was more like the Mexican Day of the dead. The focus was on military personal who had passed but not exclusive to them. It was called Decoration Day and families gathered in cemeteries to pay respect to ancestors and tidy the graves, often planting flowers. It was a big picnic and family reunion in one.

I do not have a problem at all asking ALL eBay members to pause and reflect on our US Memorial Day, without omissions. It is up to each individual whether or not they want to participate.
