The seller protection is a complete jock!!! The customer service doesn't help at all. There's no proper investigation on any case at all. You speak with a manager, you're pointing out on suspicion details, and.... of course they make a decision to buyer's favor.

Another issue. EBay closed the case after all. The last person I spoke with was some supervisor that kept saying, they have no more options for me. I haven't received any message explaining why the case was closed in buyers favor.

I hope you can get the issue resolved with REAL Ebay reps. I'm not sure about the link, since I have only heard about the Facebook page, I have never used it.

Yes, that's the correct link for eBay on Facebook. I think they had an eBay for Sellers page or something similar before, but they've rolled it all into the one page.

They can't and once the majority of buyers know what they can do Ebay will be finished. No recourse at all and they will take to money right out of your account whether you got it back, got different item back and you will refund insured packages even though return was stolen with no insurance.

I am being SCAMMED by a 6 month old account out of CA.
Bought $600 in items, then messaged before arrived wanting to buy 10 more of the same items.
Of course, totally suspicious. Then they threatened me, said they'd return the $600 in items.
I provided the Return Label as required.
They complained to ebay, who told them to return items. Ebay also debited me for the $600, plus fees, plus upgraded shipping, plus return shipping.
Then, hadn't heard or experienced this before. They created a CC Chargeback.
Ebay put that money on hold too. Making me defend to who knows what CC company this is.
Plus, left me negative feedback x2. Ebay refused to remove it.
So the Scammer abused the Returns process, did not follow ebay's instructions - yet I'm being debited almost $700, plus lost the items I sold, plus 2 Negative Feedbacks.
As a TOP-RATED SELLER been on here 26 years.
Also, I am 100% Disabled. So ebay has no Top-Rated Seller protections, steals from us, puts fake holds on our income (they're sitting on $400 of my other sales currently), & DISCRIMINATES AGAINST DISABLED CUSTOMERS.

Ebay cust serv suggested i accept the return and report when they send back the scam item, is this what they told you? Debating just filing police report cuz im in the same boat with a scammer.
