Go daddy bookkeeping/ eBay fee question?

This is question for godaddy bookkeeping users. Is  there a reason why go daddy’s eBay fees are higher than the actual eBay invoice for the year ? It’s about 1,000$ discrepancy. Which one do you use and is more accurate, ebays actual invoices or go daddy’s? Thanks

For a discrepancy of that amount you need to audit the underlying data to find where the error is and correct it.

Go daddy bookkeeping/ eBay fee question?

Very good question. I have been using this service for over 10 years and really liked it to do my taxes from. It was a cheap alternative to quickbooks. Ebay moved it from the ebay platform this year. Something happened and MOST of the info in Go daddy is now inaccurate on my account. I have been having a terrible time getting the correct info together to do my taxes. I guess the platform "broke" when it was removed from ebay. Go figure. I will be cancelling my subscription since it is now worthless! FYI....anyone using this service please verify all figures because 90% of the figures on my account were off. Some figures were off cents, other figures were off thousands of dollars. I also had 1200 transactions that fed though as "paypal" uncategorized instead of what the transaction actually was!

The fact that it is a $1,000 discrepancy means nothing to us without context. If you fees are $1,000 per year, that is an incredibly huge discrepancy. But if your fees are $1,000 a day, it is not nearly as large.

That aside ...

Do your eBay invoices only include transactions from Jan 1, and include all transactions through Dec 31?

Do your Go Daddy fees only include transactions from Jan 1, and include all transactions through Dec 31?

Go daddy bookkeeping/ eBay fee question?

My eBay fees were 1,000$ more for the entire year on godaddy than the invoices on eBay for the entire year, for example godaddy said my fees 8500 for the year, whereas eBay said they were only 7500. As the poster above said, maybe godaddy is just inaccurate now and needs to be discarded.
