I don't know what is going on but my sales in the past 3 to 4 months has dropped by a good 50%. I have a perfect feedback score and I have more items listed than ever before. The other issue I'm having is some of my items are getting absolutely no views while others are getting hundreds it doesn't make any sense. I make sure they are listed with search engine compliance I've been selling for years so I know what I'm doing when it comes to listing items. The other day I was like hmmm let's see what happens when I make several listings for the same item because I have the stock but change around the listing title. I will add other key words or will list it in a unisex or men's instead of women's or say simulated diamond instead of cubic zirconia and still those particular items no matter how I list them get absolutely no views. It doesn't make sense because I have had these exact same items in the past and they sold like hot cakes getting tons of views. Now those same things I sold last month with tons of views are sitting for weeks and not a single view on any of the listings. Has anyone else run into this issue and do you know what the reason is or how to fix it? This is my primary source of income I usually clear around 2 to 3k a month nothing crazy but enough to live on. Now I'm barely making 1k to 2k in total sales I'm drowning and I'm starting to panic since it's been a decline over a 4 month period. I know that my items are listed properly and should be picked up in the search algorithm. I'm just at a loss for trying to figure out what the problem is. Ebay customer service is absolutely no help they just say make sure to use key words to describe your items. Well you don't say 🤦 I just don't know what to do

Yea it's not that nobody wants the item because I have sold the same items in the past and they sell like crazy. I have also spoken to other sellers who are selling the same items sometimes for more than me and they said they are selling them all the time. So it's not that there is no interest or market for the item it's something else that's going on. I've also spoken to sellers who are selling the same type of stuff that say they are experiencing the no views issues with their products as well. I have more than one item in stock so I figured I'd make another listing just like the other one getting no views. Within 48hrs I'll have dozens and dozens of views and several people watching the item. So it doesn't make sense when the exact same item I had listed for 2 weeks only got 1 or 2 views. It's definitely something to do with eBay but I just can't figure out what it actually is.

My feedback score is 99.9% I had 1 person out of hundreds and hundreds of people that left a negative review and all he said was not good. It's because after weeks of wearing the jewelry he tried to clean it with a chemical that stripped the plating off of it and I wouldn't give him his money back. Not my fault he destroyed it but you don't think 99.9% is not like having perfect feedback.

Jewelry is the 2nd highest thing to sell on eBay and I usually have no issues even being a small seller. This has been the past 3 or 4 months. I've talked to a couple people who sell all kinds of stuff and they are experiencing the same thing. Then I speak to people who are selling the same type of stuff that say they are having more sales than ever before. But nobody including eBay customer service which lets face it is pretty much useless for sellers can tell me or knows why. Even the people having the same issue can't seem to get a answer for the issue. I've tried switching up how I list my items I use different key words and still nothing. But then I'll make a duplicate listing as one getting no views and I'll get a bunch of views right away. Just not really sure what to think

I've been selling for longer than a year I started selling at the end of 2020. I will make a duplicate listing and one will get tons of views and the other that had been up for longer will still get none. Same item same price same key words nothing different and it will get a bunch of views and sell while the other one gets nothing. Some people selling the same stuff will be doing great but another one selling the same stuff is doing worse than ever. This has never been a issue even being a small seller I've never had this issue and it's just getting worse. It started about 3 months ago and it seems like the more listings you have not getting views the rest of your listing views slow down like you are not in the algorithm anymore. The other thing I've noticed is the sever inaccurate median value eBay will put on the item when you are creating a listing. For instance I'll have a $200 item that is going for around that price on eBay but when making the listing eBay will give a median price of $30. So when you list at the proper price it's way off from what eBay thinks it's selling for. Do you think that might be the problem? It just started in the past 3 months or so as well that's the only thing I can relate to this no views issue. But then just to see I'll make a duplicate listing for the same item and then eBay will put a $250 median price for the same exact item same exact listing they just said was going for $30. Has that happening with anything you are listing just out of curiosity?

As it is against ebay policy to have identical listings it’s possible that they are hiding one of the listings.
Things that have worked the past don’t always continue to work. Sellers have taken time to look at your listings and haven given some excellent advice. Although it may not be the answer you are looking for, it can only help for you use some of their suggestions such as the ones regarding pictures.

Interesting... but it's stabilized and starting to climb again since late December. We sell a bit of everything and anything, so we don't get a lot of repeat buyers.

In bad weather people don't always have power.
What? I thought everyone has at least one old exercise bike they've connected to an automotive generator so they can pedal their way thin...and in the light! 🙂
We had some power outages, but seldom where we live. Most of our 'overhead' lines are acutally buried and not susceptible to downed power poles, but the older parts of the city, the areas with all the beautiful old trees, are almost always affected in one way or another. And rather than burying those lines instead of just replacing the poles, these folks will forever be subjected to storm outages. The utility company says it will cost millions of dollars to bury all those lines... but they've been saying that for years. If they had started doing even just a small portion of the affected areas, they would not need to ask for such a huge sum and would have data to show that once the lines are buried, the outage problems are reduced. Eliminated once the buried lines get all the way back to a sub-station.
But I guess that's why I don't run any city/county government agencies... logic and politics just don't mix.
