Getting bidders interested in my item

Hi all,

I am new to this whole Ebay stuff. I was wondering how to go about getting unsuccessful bidders for an item to bid for mine (very similar or maybe the same item). I imagine that with only one person winning an auction, the other bidders were likely interested in buying the item. My question is how to find those people and have them bid for mine?

Re: Getting bidders interested in my item

You guys are getting me worried now...I might add insurance when I am mailing the items, record a video with time stamp, and probably decline sale if the buyer doesn't have the necessary rep/reviews?!!

Don't be discouraged from selling- but don't sell anything you can't afford to lose- at least until you build up your feedback and selling experience. Start with lower value items or items you won't miss if something happens. There's a learning curve with this site.

eBay won't look at videos. Insurance is for the seller's protection in the event of a lost or damaged in transit parcel. A buyer's feedback means nothing since sellers are only allowed to leave positive feedback. A buyer's feedback left for others may or may not give you clues about the buyer's behavior.

You need to learn about eBay's seller performance standards- it's not as easy as cancelling a sale if you want to keep your selling account active. Like I said- learning curve. Get to know the eBay policies and the money back guarantee.
