Full Refund After Partial Refund

Hello,

I issued a partial refund through paypal to the buyer because of a flaw in the product before shipment. Now the buyer wants a full refund. If I cancel the purchase on ebay, will only the amount subtracting the partial refund be refunded? Trying to avoid refunding more than what it is actually.

Did you refund as a separate transaction or did you refund from the original transaction?

When you look at your orders page if it says "partially refunded" then you cancel the order it should only refund the balance to the buyer.

If you refunded outside of the original transaction and you go to cancel then it will refund the full amount when you cancel.
