What about it? Any thoughts or questions?

take an item you have at fixed price: and then the shipping cost: add them together and that would be what you need to charge for a fixed price with free shipping:
In other words aint no free shipping: the seller pays for it< so the buyer pays for it.
It cost you the seller shipping no mater what; Easier on taxes just to say, to go with free shipping.....
Clean cut expense instead of a extra service you are providing.

I don't use it but have heard it raises your standing in search. Likely helpful if you sell common items. If you elect this option beware that the 99% of the time your buyer will be from the furthest possible shipping destination.

Free shipping is very popular, so much so that many buyers are willing to pay more to get it.

Shipping costs are not free. All carriers charge a fee. Someone always pays.

I think it would depend on the item. I don’t want to pay a high shipping fee even if it can be added into the price. It seems like free shipping for those items would make your price point way above other sellers, no buyer would look at it.
Also do you offer free returns?
Free shipping could mean that you will pay shipping both ways if returned.
I’ve been searching what others do for a similar item and try to base it on the majority of other sellers.

You don't offer free shipping in your listings. I don't either. That makes us NO FREE SHIPPING BUDDIES!
