Free Listings

I used to get free promotions almost every 2 months, especially around the holidays.  I haven't gotten an offer for a year now.  What is up?  I dont have a store.  I could use a 1,000 free listings right now.

Why is Ebay never thinking about the sellers.

My non-store IDs have been swamped with listings lately.  I could not possibly use all of them up.

Anybody's guess as to how eBay distributes the free listing deals.  Sorry you seem to be on the wrong side of the eBay tracks.

List more, sell more. Goodwill that other, uh, stuff.

Feeling sleepy? There's an app for that.

Are you getting other emails from Ebay?  Maybe you need to check your communication preferences setting on your account.

I had that happen years ago, but I went in and rechecked the authorization for emails, and that turned around right away.

Good Luck; hope that helps!

Maybe because they want sellers to think about themselves. If you "could use a 1,000 free listings right now" then maybe instead of waiting around for freebies (that will probably never come), you should build a strong business strategy and look into some of the other options for listing.

I have a couple non-store accounts that have gotten several promotions that I haven't used. My store accounts (2 of them) haven't gotten a promo forever.

Just have to point this out:  there's listings in our cart right now that are in seller's unsold item lists so we can't purchase them for the holidays.  Didn't always used to be like that...

You can message the seller and ask them to relist if you are serious about purchasing them.  It is best to be absolutely certain you are purchasing these so you can act immediately upon the seller relisting.  Since it may cost the seller fees to list, you don't want them to incur unnecessary expense and then not fulfill your intention as stated to them.  It is so discouraging for the seller to be let down like that when a buyer abandons them.

You might want to use the Watch List for things you are watching.  The cart can be very problematic and also it is not meant to be a place where you park items for any amount of time.
