Every time I tap listing title it opens in the app instead of opening that listing in the same tab in the browser. How do you turn this off? I don’t like managing my listings in the app and so I don’t like that feature.

Maybe post this on one of the app forums (ios or android) depending on the device you have? Good luck!

If you have an Android phone.
This may be slightly different on your phone:
Go to Apps & Notifications -> Select eBay from the list -> Select Advanced -> Open by default -> Open supported links
From there can select Ask every time or Don't allow.
If you're on an iPhone. I don't know. Might be something similar under eBay settings. However you get to that.

Thanks katzrul15. After research I found out it’s the issue on apple devices and there is no solution but deleting the app.

I am sorry to hear that - they have really got to step up their game on these mobile device trainwrecks and get this in gear. You would think this would have been what they would have tackled 1st before changing the listing form??
It is such a struggle to list here and on another site in 3 seconds I have my UPC in, the item listed and am on to the next. Seriously? Why is this so hard?? (not directed at you personally....no logical answers of course). Bummer.

Unless things have changed very recently, for iOS devices, if you tap and hold an eBay link in your browser you should see options about how such links are treated by default.

Yes Thank you. I just have to remember about it every time. Interesting that some websites don’t transfer to app i.e. Home depot , banking, quickbooks etc. It makes me think that the website owner/platform or Ebay in this case could do to stop that.

Once you have set the default, it should be remembered for that site/app. Though once in a great while an update to the app or operating system might cause it to revert and you may need to set it again.
