They start with no seller protection anyway. What you get now is suppose to be 50% off return shipping to get back a part that is used, damaged and some just can't relist. All because Buyers buy more from Amazon. I buy from Amazon, since Ebay treats me like a servant. The Sellers that aren't affected are selling junk ( China stolen replicas / reproductions ) anyway and most do not care if they get the return. They buy cheap and even ship for 1.50. My shipping runs over 4.00 for a 3 oz package. Those that offer already, are only following the best option they can get. I wonder if those that offer returns and buyer pays return, are now paying 50% as well. Hmm. That program apparently wasn't good enough. Amazon and others loose millions with returns, so are Sellers suppose to pay that expense, so Ebay gets more popular ? What day does that go into affect ? My store will go on vacation mode. Unfortunately, too many sellers are willing to suck it up, so the few can't make much difference. I will wait to they come to their senses and in the meantime, look at website option. Enough is enough. VACATION MODE !

Free returns cost major retailers millions. who do you think is going to cover that tab. Sellers. Major retailers box up pallets of returns daily and resale at auction for pennies on the dollar. For me, a lot of the product will simply have to get thrown in the trash. Negative revenue plus lost product.

You do like the major retail stores, write it off on your taxes.

If I am going to loose money ( more than I do now without any real protections ) to attract new buyers, that is just more problems. I might as well go on vacation and watch it play out. I would rather loose spend that money to setting up website. Look at some of the big Sellers that have already gone that route. They do both, so they can bail and not as affected.

Isn't the policy just for auto parts?
Does it include marine parts?
