With the recent changes rolled out a few weeks ago this is no longer visible on sellers profiles. Perhaps they are trying to protect other users account / screen names from being visible. Theoretically a hacker could look at these profiles and if they see no recent activity on the feedback page target them to be hacked.
Buyers can still locate the sellers they are fallowing on their watch list page. The trick followers#followers to manipulating the URL may eventually be removed or blocked as it appears eBay does not want this information to be visible to other users.
