Fishy personal email

Hi All,

I received a personal email from what said ebay.com not eBay.com. It said email@ebay.com. That seemed wrong. It advised me that a bid had been cancelled or retracted but I got no such notice on my eBay messages. I have called eBay 3 times with no answers about what is going on. There was a part of the email title that said $$Country Path Home Path. That seemed fishy too.

In any case my item was $56.00 and now it's $35.95.

Have I been hacked???

Did the email you receive have any links you can click on to go to your eBay account? If it did, and you clicked on the link you may have been hacked.

If you think you have been hacked, enter your eBay account and change your password. Review your account and make sure important settings haven't changed and there are no new items listed for sale that you did not list.
