Final Value Fee more than 10% - Why?

I recently sold a fixed price item for $80 with a $15 shipping fee.  I am well within my zero insertion fee allowance and have an above standard performance rating.  There were no extras in the auction that add to the fee.  So, I was expecting the fee to be a simple 10% of the $95 total, i.e. $9.50.  However, the eBay charges I am seeing are:

Item FVF = $8.40

Shipping FVF = $1.58

So why am I being charged 10.5% when eBay's help pages show the fees for auctions like this to be only 10% ???  Where is the extra 0.5% coming from?

You are in Canada, Alberta to be specific so the extra 40 cents is GST(@ 5%). Same thing for the extra 8 cents on shipping.
