Feedback

Is there a way to change back to the old feedback? The new one is garbage.

Yes.  Look closely at the screen on the right side.  There should be something about going back to the classic view.

Re: Feedback

Thanks, only when I'm looking at someone else's feedback. Not when I want to leave feedback. In fact I have different feedback pages depending on where I access them. I guess I'll just automate it. Didn't want to but am not going to play games with it. On another note, why does it always leave out the first 2 or 3 letters from my post when posting here? Tech is just great.

It is the same for all of us.  The changes to feedback pages is horrible.  I too went to automated feedback for my buyers as the new screens require taking way too much time to leave feedback unless you just have one or two to leave.

Re: Feedback

That is the page I see when I'm leaving feedback on something I've bought, so as a buyer.

Re: Feedback

For something I purchased I get this new format.  I donot see the option to "Use stored feedback".  Does anyone know Is this something that will no longer be available?

When I sell something I still get the previous format.

Re: Feedback

That is how it looks for me too when I go to leave feedback for a buyer.

Re: Feedback

It's so confusing to look at, if you bought several items from different sellers, that I have left fb for the wrong items, a couple of times now. It's ridiculous. LEAVE IT ALONE EBAY!!!

There is no doubt, these changes have made leaving feedback far more labor intensive.

Speaking for myself only.  I've found the easiest way to leave FB for sellers I've purchased from is to go to my Purchase screen from the Ebay icon on the upper right side of the screen.  From the down arrow menu I select Purchases.

Maybe that will help you too.

For me as a seller, I had to go to automated feedback as they have just made things so labor intensive for sellers to leave feedback on multiple buyers.  I would once a week or so post feedback for my buyers.  That is a thing of the past with all these changes.  I hate doing automated feedback, but I really didn't have much choice.

Re: Feedback

Good tip on purchase fb. Thanks.

As a seller, I usually leave fb the moment I ship. It's easier for me and I leave different kinds depending on their scores. If it's a newbie, I'm not going to write that they are the best of ebay, etc. I'm just going to say that they paid quickly and I look forward to working with them. I leave the best fb for my regulars or repeat customers that I've worked with. Not sure if I can customize them like that on auto, so I'll stick to what works for me. Good luck with automating yours! I hope it helps you.

@gloryglorygifts

I know.  I too when I posted my own FB for buyers would pay a little special attention to new buyers and give a little extra praise.  But Ebay has made this more cumbersome for sellers for some ridiculous or misguided reason.

I as well as other Mentor's have been trying to get some attention to this matter.  Since Ebay Open is later this month, they are all busy preparing for that.  So hopefully after the OPen we can get someone's attention on the Feedback Team that is willing to listen to our concerns.  We are certainly trying.

I would disagree with that.  IMHO the most telling feedback is done by Buyers.  The Feedback they leave for others.  I have found that immensely telling over the years, especially with those abusing the system and it's sellers.
