Why would someone offer $50 more than what you ask when they could buy it for $50 less?
These are usually scams playing on your greed. Did you exchange information? Did they ask for your paypal address?

Well, let me ask you this...
Do you remember that time you went to the grocery store and offered to pay more at the cash register?
How about that time you went to fill up the car with gasoline, the total came to $40 and you gave the man $90 and told them to keep the change, remember that?
No, these things didn't happen?
Think about that.
Your listing was taken down for one of two reasons that I can think of:
1. Ebay bots have detected a scam and took down the listing in an effort to actually try and protect you.
Granted, I can't say I've heard of this happening but it is possible.
2. Ebay bots have detected your exchange of messages and determined someone is trying to conduct an off-ebay sale, which is against policy and that is why your listing was taken down.
Personally I think the latter is the case, you may wish to check carefully that you didn't get a policy violation message.

@babse_47. Ok babse, you have another topic posted about items broke due to poor ship and neg FB given..Now you said Yes to 50$ more for a listed item? You are a new seller that is "walking on thin ice" here. You do not communicate outside of EBay's protected womb, no texting, no phone calls, no release of carrier pigeons, nothing. These are scammers who will send fake PayPal payments, ask you to include gift cards etc. You need to seriously read EBay's rules about selling here or shortly this will all come to a nasty end.

If you had a "real" offer through the Best Offer feature and you accepted, your listing would have ended. You are charged the final value fees at that point, whether or not the buyer pays is not considered. If you accepted a "real" offer, you can then use the "unpaid item dispute". Check your account details to see if you were billed for a transaction.
If all you had was the usual "text me" scammer, you will never get paid. If the "deal" was made simply through eBay messages, you cannot file anything for there would actually be no real transaction. If ebay took down your listing you would likely get notice. Check your spam folder in your regular email client for notification.
