I am posting here after searching the website for hours for help. I do not understand the level of distance ebay has decided to put between them and their sellers. How do I speak with an actual person, because you DO NOT list any option for the help I need.
I posted a few of my watches on ebay for sale. Per ebay's recommendation, and my comfort in my item, I listed it at $1 no reserve. My watch was acquired from one of the largest auction house in the world: Heritage auctions. It was authenticated by Rolex in NYC. I posted my watch with the maximum number of clear pictures available. Didn't blur anything out. After two days, my watch is pulled for being counterfeit, and I have no options of recourse or the ability to speak with someone. I read through multiple complaints on the community board about this, and discovered that someone can just randomly report an item as counterfeit, and its removed. How does that work, and how is that fair? should I spend the day or two and just say everyone's watch is counterfeit, and wipe out all of your Rolex listings? after all..."the watch cannot be relisted".
What is wrong with you guys?

I believe you..did you list your Rolex with the pictures of the COA or the auction house receipt? Did you get a message from a particular Ebayer that it's fake? I say this because it happened to me a long time ago. There is some Ebayer out there that thinks he is the "watchdog" of Rolex and related products, granted this brand is copied/counterfeited so much, maybe you have to be an authorized seller..don't know. You may want to just take it to a reputable jeweler to sell instead of ebay. Good luck to you.

The bottom line is you cannot sell it on ebay. Take it to a local pawn shop or jeweler or list it on Craigslist. You won't get as much money but also you won't get scammed.
Even if you had been able to sell it on ebay, there is a good chance you would have been scammed out of it in some way.

Listing a rolex at a $1 starting bid yells counterfeit to many even if ebay told you to start there. Should have started at a realistic figure if it is a true genuine rolex.
My buddy listed a rolex that normally doesn't sell watches and he had no problem and he started the auction at $1,000 and had no problems selling it and was happy with the bids he got.
whatever you do DO NOT RELIST it here ever again otherwise you will be taking a vacation from selling. This goes for any listing that gets pulled.

-even if I relist with some sort of documentation? That is what they recommended. I would be suspended for doing what they recommended? to your point, I guess my listing was pulled based on ebay's recommendation. All of this is just mind boggling. I cannot understand a business that functions this way.
I just reached out to a specialist I deal with at christies. they will put it in one of their online auctions. I just cant get over the insanity of this selling platform.

Ebay recommended $1?
Where does ebay recommend this? I can understand the strategy of $1 for a $20-$50 item, but $1 for a $4000+ watch makes it look like a toy, or counterfeit, imo. If I saw a Rolex listed for $1 starting bid, I would think it's fake or a scam. If I saw a $25 silver dollar listed a $1 starting bid, I would think that's good strategy.

If ebay were to recommend that you jump off the Empire State Building, would you? Starting a Rolex for $1? Were it not ebay, I wouldn't believe anyone would suggest it.
The 'bots have you on radar with your Rolex. No person has to see it, the 'bots will take care of policing. There are places to sell things that are deemed against policy, or questionable, on ebay - even CraigsList would be better, with less likelihood of getting scammed - just make sure the transaction is in the PD lobby under the camera(s).

If I saw a $1 starting bid on a Rolex I would think it was a fake.

As others suggested, the bots probably took it down because of the starting price. Few sellers would be willing to take a chance starting an auction for a Rolex at that price. It looks like it has been a while since you sold anything so that could be a factor as well...they didn't want to take a chance.

YES!!!!!!!!! Utterly ridiculous - recently had a Pair of Nike Shoes(not even a pricey model that no one would think of making a counterfeit of) that were purchased from a Nike Outlet - The listing was removed as counterfeit and I have no doubt it was due to a report by a competitor who was selling the same ones for more money - HOW ON EARTH is this allowed?????????????????
