Extra No Insertion Fees For Certain Categories

I do not know about anyone else, but I think that it is very upsetting that ebay is offering this great amount of extra no insertion fees for only certain categories (which clothing is NOT one of them) I pay a monthly store subscription, but yet this new offer has no benefit for me, because I sell clothing. I feel that this is totally unfair! Ebay should help all of their sellers, not just a select group.

I don't think their objective is to "help" sellers.........rather to help the market place by adding more product in the categories they think can sell more.......clothing is saturated and always has been......  Free listings would just encourage more lower priced/less desirable listings........

So to sum up ...

You are getting exactly what was promised with you store subscription, but you are "very upset" because the additional free stuff that you were just given is not good enough for you. 

eBay is a for-profit company that is looking to help eBay - not to help you. Perhaps you could use these extra free listings as a low-cost opportunity to branch out and try selling other things.

I think Ebay is realizing that the insert fee is more a barrier than an extra cash that they can make for regular sellers other than stores.

Since they extended the amount from 50 to 200 I was able to sell more often than before.

Maybe they will realize that they will make more money by eliminating this nonsense of insertion fees
