Error in listing title

I just discovered that I listed an Apple Watch as series 3 in the title but it was shown correctly as a Series 2 the description.  Should I contact the buyer and offer a total  or partial refund or not?

Yes, you had better before you ship, otherwise you'll be dealing with an unhappy customer and a possible selling defect. You'll probably need to cancel the sale.

If you can't agree on a fair price/partial refund, the buyer has the right to a FULL REFUND because the item was not as described.

@evanskl - Well you haven't specified if you caught this BEFORE shipping or AFTER. That makes a difference for the advice you are receiving. Right now this is a case of INAD, the title is part of the description because it's used for searching. If you haven't shipped then you should either cancel the sale and refund, or see if the buyer still wants it reduce the price. You still don't know if the buyer will want it or not. If you've already shipped then I'm afraid it's too late to do much now.

The important thing is to learn from this error so it never happens to you again. Best of luck to you....
