Ebay software bug - Relisting Multiple Variations

It appears there is a bug in ebay's software.  When a listing with multiple variations ends and items have been sold, ebay's software does NOT reflect the sold items when you relist or automatic relist.  Ebay is aware there is a problem, but state that it is the seller's responsibility to ensure the accuracy of the items in stock.  However, if a seller is not aware that the software bug exists and chooses to utilize the automatic relisting feature, then the seller's listing is automatically relisted with errors (i.e., items that were sold are not reflected as such and appear to be in stock, when in fact they are not).  If the software is not designed to reflect items sold for listings with variations upon relisting, then automatic relisting should not be available for items with variations and a message stating if items have been sold, then manual adjustment is required upon relist.

not a bug...........always been this way........

if you relist, the item is considered to be relisted the same as the original listing.........which includes the quantity (s).........

So it is up to you to relist it with the quantity you have on hand.............at the time you relist it........

Sorry, I should have added:   If you use GTC instead of 30 days, the item will relist with the available quantities on it....  In other words with that format........the quantities will continue to "count down"....and you can add to those quantities if you have the inventory........so on multiiple quantity listings it's best to use GTC for that reason as well as that it carries the sales history, which, if good, does give you a bump in search......
