I'm trying to see what else I can do or how to get the correct information (or any advice anyone can give). A buyer purchased a new item and later opened return request claiming it was damaged. He also attached a close up of the damage, but it wasn't and area from the item I shipped. I contacted ebay that the buyer provided false photo and after many holds and customer service representative talking to supervisor, I was told that they see that, but I still have to accept the return. I was also told that a note was added to the case and in case I receive wrong item back, I should contact ebay. I was told to do nothing and once the buyer asks ebay to step in, ebay will provide return label. Later I asked again if I had to privide the return label myself and I was told that ebay will do it (the agent even asked me how I shipped the item and what the weight was).
About a week afterwards the buyer asked ebay to step in and I was waiting for the rturn to arrive. Instead I received an email from ebay asking to either provide return label for buyer or to transfer money for shipping to his Paypal account. It gave me 4 days to do that and said that the buyer has to ship the item within 5 days. I contacted ebay asking to clarify the situation as I was told that ebay will provide label. Their response was "I'm sorry you were given the wrong information" and that I have to provide the label myself. I provided return label, case got updated. The package didn't move for 5 days, so I called ebay to close the case. The CS agent told me that the buyer has 7 days to ship the item (though it makes no sense as the date she gave me is 10 days since I provided label). Again, I was told that the previous agent gave me wrong information. I do not see that return date in the case details and I never received any information about it, except that the buyer was asked to return the item (email received next day after providing label).
Any advice how to contact someone else (supervisor or so) or what to do? Or should I just wait and hope that the buyer returns what he bought?

You can telephone cs again, be very polite but firm in needing to speak with a supervisor, since you have already presented the issue & have received incorrect guidance from two previous reps.
Good luck, hope things ultimately will work out OK .
