I agree 100%. After 4 succesful years and 4 million in sales and the last 2 miserable years in sales I am Through. I just laid off my last of 8 employees last night. Thank you ebay for destroying lives...well done...

You can ask for return for refund~and a refund does not negate the buyer being able to express their opinion of the transaction. Sorry.

No. But then, I give lots of things away free to my wonderful repeat and new buyers and have never gotten negative feedback.

Of course ebay has changed and many times over the years and will keep right on changing for years to come...so has most every other business on the planet.

As for the rest......as far as I am aware we are not required to give stuff away as a general rule...we still list with prices and get paid when buyers purchase them but there are times that sellers do lose disputes and with that their items...usually for very specific reasons though.

eBay buyers have gotten so cheap and low-rent plus eBay enables it. Sellers reap what eBay sows.

No not really but this may sound strange , but I think I had more money to spend before I became a e bay seller . The last week of the month right after e bay takes their fees has been getting very hard to make ends meet . Tulips

Low-rent?? Really??
Buyers not spending a lot doesn't make them any such thing. Many people are not in a position right now to spend a lot. Things are tough for a lot of people...not just sellers on ebay. And BTW sellers here on ebay are also buyers and guess what some of them do not spend a lot either.....including those that resell or want to sell at prices people are willing to pay right now for their particular items.
I would also bet you have bought things on sale, not full price, and such too for various reasons.

Just contact an Ebay rep again and say something like, “ it was raining and I got all wet. Will you please remove their negative feedback?.” Watch! I promise you it will work.
