No. Not if you respond to the buyer and try to work things out. If you ignore a buyer, you will lose every time.

Just contact an Ebay rep again and say something like, “ it was raining and I got all wet. Will you please remove their negative feedback?.” Watch! I promise you it will work.

Re: Ebay has changed

Newsflash! Ebayers have ALWAYS been cheap.  Why pay retail when you can get it HERE for a fraction of the cost if you are willing to accept second hand?  And I would posit that it isnt EBAY or the BUYERS who have dragged it down but delusional sellers who think they are Saks Fifth Avenue while offering ratty old Mart stuff for ridiculous prices.

The buyer should be able to express their honest experience. If you were the buyer, would you not want the same option.

@warmestflame

Thank you for agreeing with me.  That was what I said.  Giving a refund does not negate the buyer's right to express an opinion on that transaction.  IOW, giving a refund does not and should not take away the buyer's right to express their opinion of that transactions.

I will not confirm or deny.

Most likely you did not call CS and state it is raining outside, please remove this feedback and they did, and that was my point.

If you did, you would have no problem backing up your statement with confirmation.

I understand it was just an exaggeration, and that you are frustrated.

Thanks, Trinkets.  I can understand being upset and frustrated about having a neg removed.
