EMERGENCY!

This topic comes up once in a while on the boards.

I went to the Doctor's office on Monday for a routine visit.

I end up in the ER and was told I was going to have be admitted.

With one phone call to a loved one, we set in motion our emergency plan to set my store to time away.

At that time I had 3 orders to fill.  

My loved on was able to pull and ship those orders just as we have practiced.

Moral of this story: It's very important to have a emergency plan in place.

P.S.  I got released Tuesday afternoon alive and kicking.    😉

BTW, I was just on O'ahu this weekend for the Honolulu Marathon. Much Aloha everywhere and we had so much fun!

Glad you're better.  Hahaha...I had that same thing happen to me last month...only I had no sales in the bin waiting to go 😞  So my plan of action was easy just a click or two.   I remember reminding myself while in the ER  I had to do the time away, but I have no memory of actually doing it...yet I did do it.  I guess muscle memory

Nope - I drooled all over it - all of those malasadas and spam musubi, and I was HUNGRY.

But seriously - that's scary to just go to the doctor for a routine visit and end up in the hospital. It shows that you never know, and to always be prepared. Having your loved one practice is a brilliant idea. I'm not sure my DH, who is my right hand man, would know what to do, even though he can work the account. If/when I start up selling again I think we'll go through a practice session.
