Today is My last Day on EBay, I’ve been a EBay User for over 21 years and I’ve had enough, selling on this platform is ridiculous, More rules and regulations for what? Every sale that I’ve been screwed on your so called Rules didn’t help. You have Buyers that openly admitted lying yet you EBAY take there side. So I lose. I tried so hard to keep a 100% feedback rating and for what? I lose when a Customer states false claims against me the seller, well third is a charm. Today I get a buyer who blatantly lies, states the parts I sold him fit a new year older model truck when the part # is clearly marked on the part. Well eBay I’m done, 21 years has been a long run, then you got too Bureaucratic. Like big government. You put all these rules and regulations in and you took every bit of the fun out of selling. You don’t have a problem taking the 15% from a Sale but you sure have a problem supporting someone when there os a issue with lying buyers. You know my name look up the account. I warned you. Third time is a Charm. I’m done with this over priced rip off of a Platform that just sucks the small sellers dry. The worst customer support there is. Just like everything else in America you sold out, now when you get customer service you can’t even understand what people say. Takes you a hour to figure out how to get a phone call to resolve a issue. Once you get someone on the phone they blow smoke up your rear end and lie saying no problem you will be taken care of to only string you along to say sorry 2 months later that we are sorry there is nothing our support team could do. Really well I’m done with you eBay. Fun while it lasted. You are overpriced anyhow and have gotten so complicated that you need a degree just to list something for sale. I am so glad I deleted all 150 ads I had to never come back here again. You guys have fun taking care of all the criminals you cater to on this site. The thieves that lie and steal from honest sellers like myself, you don’t care you get the 15% regardless. Then you are off the screwing the next seller out of a dispute that they should win but no take the side of the liars and scam artists. Honestly go to hell every last one of you liars, I hope Karma gets every one of you crooked thieves.

Wish you better days for whatever awaits. Good luck.

You sold a truck part.
The buyer claimed it was the wrong part.
Did you pay for him to return it?
Was the part he returned the same part he sent you?
Did you then refund him?
You can have a No Returns policy, but not a No Refunds policy.
However, even with a No Returns policy, you can demand the return before refunding.
Or you can just abandon the part and refund.
Or you can have a snit fit on the highest horse you can find for a few months and in the end refund the customer.
Surprising that after 21 years you had not figured that out.

You are not addressing eBay - we're just sellers like you.

I hope wherever you go or what you do that it makes you happier. 2021 has been a challenging year for many of us, especially for those of us coming off of record breaking numbers in 2020.
Here's to hoping 2022 is much better for all of us, no matter where we are or where we go!!!

I believe more and more sellers will leave this platform as well due to the issues that you posted. There are so many similar posts concerning here every day. I can only wish you well as a fellow seller and that you find a platform that will provide success and happiness. All the best. Good luck.

21 years, and you are not cognizant of the clockwork of the boards? This is eBay, and love it or hate it, it is, what it is. At any rate, had your conundrum garnered the attention of those you had intended it to reach, I doubt the board members would have been very sympathetic.

If feel quite like you in many ways. I felt like quitting and in many ways have. I have stopped selling. I really hope you stay active within the chat boards to share your experience.
There may, I'm hoping, be changes within the misguided decision makers at eBay that may lead to a better selling platform.
Either way, good luck to you.

Thanks for the the helpful post. You are a breath of fresh air. I just wonder if you speak to peers in person in this manner? It is quite productive.

Don’t look back in anger! You had a great run - 21 years of selling is great!
