I just noticed, If I search for any of my 67 listings, there are two listings for each item, same item number.
If I display my active listings, there are only 1 title associated with each listing. All the quantities are 1.
From my active listing 'list', I deleted a item.. and then relisted it.. same results, duplicate listings, with duplicate item numbers. The item numbers are different from the original listing that I ended.
I just added a new item .. see below. Sorry I wasn't able to make the images larger. The first listing has
NEW LISTING title, condition, price, S&H. Free Returns
The second listing - Sponsored NEW LISTING Title, price. (no Condtion, price, & Free Returns)
I'm losing my mind.... It's got to be something that I have done in error, just cannot determine what that my be.
Thanks in advance for any help... julie s.

Well, I'm sorry, I'm a moron. When I saw the word 'sponsored', I was thinking of 'promoted'.
I did not add any listings 'sponsored'. Evidently, I don't even know what sponsored means.. js

FYI I was going to reduce the price on a pair of NIKEs, that's when I noticed the duplicate problem. At that time I had 64 or 65 listings already listed. They have duplicates as well. I have not edited 90% of them in a while.

Sponsored listings and promoted listings are the same thing. Look at Marketing >Promoted listings to see if you are running any campaigns. End the campaigns to avoid fees. When you end the promoted listing campaigns, the Sponsored listings will go away.

When you are creating a new listing or editing an existing listing there is an area near the bottom of the listing form where the option to promote the listing is available. You may have inadvertently checked the box to promote your listing.

No, you are definitely not a moron. The words "sponsored" and "promoted" are indeed used interchangeably for this kind of listing.
So, you'd better check to see if you listed those items incorrectly, or you'll be paying extra fees for them . . .
