Drop Shipping with Alibaba?

I'm new to Alibaba and was wondering if anyone used it for drop shipping and what their experience has been.

Drop Shipping from a retail site is against the rules of ebay. 

"Listing an item on eBay and then purchasing the item from another retailer or marketplace that ships directly to your customer is not allowed on eBay. "

This is ebay.  From what I've been told it violates Ebay policy, so I wouldn't suggest it.
