As for my hot wheels prices, 90% of that inventory are in lots or bundles whatever you want to call it, & those prices per car are Excellent prices & the customer saves drastically on shipping cost, & i do not trust any of ebay's market prices state or much of any other of their information they give us

You have 1700 items up, sold 30 in last 90 days........doesn't that tell you something?

That is over a 14 year sell through rate.  Mine is 11 months and that is the worst it has ever been in 4 years of selling full time.  That is mostly because I spent the last year listing nothing but the things I had been passing over from older bulk buys, so it is also the worst stuff I ever listed. Thank god I just reached the bottom of that pile.

Most sellers who track such things are looking for a sell through rate in the 3-6 month range.

I spend as much time researching ebay as I do selling since I have a youtube channel about it.

I only agree with your last paragraph, I do not agree with the rest, I have my reasons & I am not going to get into it with you

Yikes.  You can have your reasons for pricing higher than the market will support, but to dismiss that there is a market and supply and demand seems silly.

I would sell a lot more if ebay would get it in front of customers eyes, But they want more & more & more money in order to do that!

Yes it tells me ebay is not getting my items in front of enough customers, because i am not willing to give them more & more & more money!, I am in a very saturated market for the most part & they want way to much to play their game!

Why not TRY reducing your prices and see if that helps sales.........

It's not Ebay's fault. It comes down to demand and buyers willing to pay your price. If you price too high then nobody will buy. Buyers want deals. From my experience buyers like making offers with the "OBO" option, free shipping, and 30 day returns seller pays for shipping. I get direct messages from many buyers saying they are purchasing from me because of my return policy. I fell confident that everything will go well. If not they can return the item for a full refund. Saying "no returns" will have buyers look the other way.

One concern with just sticking with your pricing regimen, is that being in a volatile market some of your items may just lose demand and won't sell for anything, much less a premium price. If you haven't already, I would suggest clearancing out those items (you'll know best what they are) and use the proceeds to keep investing in new stock. I have to do that, myself.

We have to remain flexible - there's no other way to survive in this (or any other, really), selling climate.

Have you even taken the time to read about the policy?  It is a very good policy, you should at least educate yourself on it so you make an informed decision.

I will be changing that Today!, I am also doing this as a clean way out, You have seen how bad this year has been for many many sellers even with cheap prices, You really think their New changes are going to Help?, I don;t & the state of the world & this election, To many leaning toward the wrong candidate because they wrongfully believe that things will be financially better under them, when in fact if that person wins, You will all be wishing you followed me out the door!, I don't much care for the other candidate either but as they say the lesser of two evils.

I assume you are talking about EIS.  And yes I do think it was a very good change for sellers.  We get much better protection on international shipments.

"I am also doing this as a clean way out", your doing what.  Changing your store level?  How in the world does that help you to clean things out.  If you want to do that, you need to adjust your pricing closer to what it sells for in reality.  Keeping the stuff with high prices does nothing to help you sell stuff and it doesn't teach others to increase their pricing.  All it does it slow down your sales or completely stop them in some cases.

"You will all be wishing you followed me out the door!"  I won't.  I can tell you that for sure.  I can't speak for others, but I'm won't be.

Well that is the first piece of misinformation.  They aren't Ebay's figures, they are the prices of the SELLERS.  Ebay as a company has nothing to do with it.  The items are just for sell on their site.  Ebay did not set the pricing.

I don't think using Promoted Listings would help you at all.

Chances are that your items do get in front of buyers, but the buyers check the pricing of other sellers too and see that your times are listing for far more than they have to pay with other sellers.  That is the point we have been trying to get you to understand.  I am unsure why you are so reluctant to do your own research and reduce your pricing accordingly.

You want to blame this on Ebay and it is not Ebay's issue.  It is your reluctance to have reasonable pricing.

Then you aren't reading it with an open mind.

Sellers ship the item to the Ebay Hub.  If the hub accepts the package, then they process it on to the buyer.  From that point, when Ebay accepts the package at the hub, Ebay takes all responsibility for the rest of the transaction.  Even if there ends up being a claim by the buyer.

Ebay also does not charge their 1.65% fee for international sales.
