I'm an honest person and it hurts me that I have do do things contrary to my belief. I know this is Ebay's and it doesn't belong to me, but I believe in principles. And I thought everyone should have the same values.

I made power seller 6 months after starting selling on Ebay. I started with $700.00 form my credit card. I started with a few items and my store grew to 2500 items in about 4 years. That change with a new policy and me then needing to downgrade to 1000 items at 10 years.

Before I would make money and just put it back in inventory, now that the sales has dropped and I have some savings again. I'm not able to put anything back in inventory like before. My sales has dropped and purchasing more inventory will only be to have it stored.

I'm not saying I'm not going to purchase more inventory, but only when I have sales.

Not understanding, how this makes you less of an honest person.

What is does is make you a smart business person. You have to do what works for you.

I too have slowly let items trickle off and not listing as much due to out door flea market season starting soon in my area.. same amount of work just better situation for what I have and not sitting behind a computer trying to figure out best options on shipping or how to list an item in hopes to make a sale.

That is typically how all businesses operate. Businesses that are booming put money back into the business and those that are not, do not put cash back into the business. The only exception is the ones who have a great plan and know they can build by spending the cash to get a payout. It has nothing to do with being honest, it is having to do with good business sense.

I'm confused.

What are you having to do that is contrary to your belief in being honest?

Are you saying something about your eBay business is forcing you to be dishonest? What is that, and how is making you dishonest?

And who is it that you think does not share you values, and what values are you referring to?
