Hello,
I will try to keep this short. I don't know if I should block this buyer...from Israel.
Buyer purchased item on July 14th. Estimated arrival was July 30 - August 23.
On August 23th buyer stated item not received.
I told buyer on August 23th to open a claim for a refund.
I also stated "eBay likes to keep track of items lost from buyers & sellers"....I actually don't know if eBay really does that but it sounds good. Buyer tells me he will wait one week more.
Today, buyer opens an item not received claim...while I was still sleeping...ha ha
And then buyer closes claim while I am still sleeping today.
Buyer stated : "Received just now 15 min. ago. All OK."...and left feedback.
Do I block this buyer? It does not take this long to receive something in the mail.

@12345jamesstamps No, no reason to block them. Buyer actually sounds nice, was patient, understood how the system works, and immediately closed the INR once item was delivered. This is a very long way to travel, and customs holds up the process. Buyer doesn't know when you are sleeping, you are sleeping while they are awake is all. Glad all turned out okay for both parties. Best of luck to you....

It can.
Small envelopes are going astray at USPS.

You're in the US and he's in Israel. It absolutely can take that long to receive. Don't forget that going through customs alone can take months.

Is this an old topic ? Why would you block someone asking about where their item is after over a month waiting. Where was it sent ? July 30 to August 23 ? I have never seen such a large estimated arrival date.

I have had the problem with large estimated arrival dates.
Some of my items have a two week estimated date of arrival in the USA...from the USA...we don't know why that is.

No customs...its just a standard envelope that cost $1.60 to ship.

I see no reason to block.

If the question is ever: "Do I block this user?"
The answer is ALWAYS "Yes."

Please NEVER follow that advice. There are limited buyers out there for specific categories. If you block as easily as the person who wrote that you would reduce your buying pool by 50% or more. Terrible practice IMO.

Entirely up to you OP.
...don't ignore one of the few ways that sellers can protect themselves because you will not miss one person out of 300+ million. Ever.
