That is really curious indeed. I looked at several of your listings. If you fill out your ISBs [item specific boxes], that will appear and if you use the catalog info that will appear, but I don't see any description typed by you. I can't say that I've ever seen this problem.
Also may I ask what level of a store do you have? And why do you have a store? Were you planning to run a lot more listings each month and got sidetracked with this problem?

Maybe try to revise the listing and change one word in the description. Maybe that (hopefully) will re-set it somehow.

I've seen this reported on here once before, and I'm sorry but I don't remember if there was ever a resolution for it, or if it spontaneously cleared. 🙁 You could try Pinkryder's idea. Also, when you go into revising the listing, if you don't see a description in the description area, try hitting the "show all options" link on the upper right side of the description window and see if it brings it up to make sure the description is still present.

Yes I have tried that and anything else I can think of - someone on Facebook is having the same problem - I just gave up - I went to Canva and wrote my description and I put it in the Ebay pictures. Thank you for your help 🙂

I've tried just about everything, but it gets time-consuming and I just gave up. A person on Facebook is having the same problem. I went to Canva and wrote my description and I put it in the Ebay pictures. Thank you so much for your help 🙂

Part of your TOS [terms of sale] will likely cause you trouble.
"As soon as your payment clears, we ship out between 1 to 2 business days including Saturdays." You state you ship within a 1 day handling time. As far as Ebay Managed Payments is concerned, as soon as a payment is received it is fine for a seller to ship. Keep in mind that once a buyer makes a payment, they have no ability to change it, cancel the payment or adjust it in any way. They couldn't do that in PayPal and that can't do it in Managed Payments either. So the funds will come to you within the process of MP.
So if you hold yourself to what you have stated in your TOS, you will start racking up late shipment defects and eventually the health of your selling account will be at risk.
"I am happy to accept returns within 30 days of purchase." Per the Ebay rule it is 30 days from RECEIPT, not purchase.
"Return postage is at the buyer's expense." You can't enforce this. If your buyer files a proper Buyer's Remorse claim, then yes the buyer will be responsible for return shipping costs. But if a buyer files an INAD, the seller always has to pay for the return shipping. That too is part of the Ebay policies.

No, I have never experienced disappearing descriptions.
I have also never experienced a ghost listing.
I guess i'm just lucky (or unlucky).

Thank you for the tag @mam98031! @virtualwhispers Do you have an item number that we can use as an example? We will reach out and have a ticket open for this issue and will use any additional information you can provide in the ticket itself to help resolve this.

Thank you for getting back to me.
I have the lowest store you can have - I've had it for some years. I'm not a business or anything - just selling things from my parent's home. This problem seems to be in Firefox - When I listed with Chrome - everything showed up after submit. I do plan on putting up a lot more things due to my Dad passing away, and I will have to move from this house soon.

Devon asked you for some listing numbers with the problem. He needs that to open a ticket on the problem. Don't forget to give him that information.

Hi Devon,
Here are a few listings that are not showing the descriptions. It might just be a
Firefox problem because it's not happening with Chrome. I'm sorry it took a bit
for me to get back to you - I had some doctor stuff going on.
