Anyone having good experiences with this we have been on ebay for 25+ years fulltime for 4 years before we retired and now part time but as most know sales have ultimately been slipping their search feature is terrible and being suggested that you have to promote maybe its time to start looking at some cross posting strategy, Any thoughts? Good idea. Just have to stay on top of inventory as items sell. Worst thing is out of stock account defects.

In a few earlier posts, last week and yesterday, I mistakenly stated that List Perfectly allowed listings to be automatically removed from all platforms once its sold. This is false.
List Perfectly does not have this feature. They have an auto sales detection feature, which alerts you of sales, in 30 minute revolving windows.
My only reason for wanting to utilize a cp/cl tool was to take advantage of auto delist of sold items. There's no way I would use any of the software without this feature. Its too risky and guaranteed to produce an out of stock defect.
From what I gathered on other forums, the cross listing tools have platform ToS hurdles that prevent them from auto delisting solds. I'm not sure if this is true.
Until this changes, and the cross listings tools have an option of auto delistings solds, there's no way I would use the services or recommend it. I'm hoping this changes soon.

Depends on how you are defining "Cross Posting". Cross posting means you have one item only. You post it here and again on other sites. As soon as it sells on one of the sites you go and close the other listings. This is a very dangerous practice. If you aren't available with that item sells or not fast enough to close the other listings, it can cause you problems on whatever site you are selling on. I do not recommend this practice at all. Some will disagree with me, but you need to understand this is risky business.
Now if what you meant to ask is about selling on multiple channels. I've done that for years. I have inventory to cover any sales that happens here or on the other sites I sell on. I actually separate my inventory for each site I sell on. It has worked for me for many years. It seems when one site is slow one of the other sites I sell on will be doing fine. So it helps me to be more even on the financial end. Gotta love that.
Good luck with whatever you decide to do.
