I have had my eBay store for over 10 years. The name of my store now does not tell the story of what my inventory has essentially transitioned to. When I started my business, it was based upon a large stock of inventory that I basically inherited from a priest who left tons of belongings in a house that we flipped, now I’m dealing in vintage jewelry and to be quite honest with you. The name of my business doesn’t really apply to either lol. So I’m hoping that somebody who has experienced this or has some knowledge regarding this topic might advise me on whether or not this will impact my store negatively. Thank you in advance.

I changed my name after 22 years. As you said what I sell now wasn't a description of my old name. So I changed it. I don’t know if it helped or hurt. However it seems more logical and hopefully easier for customers to remember.

It makes no real difference - your URL will still redirect. My store name doesn't reflect what I sell anymore, but I don't care that much. Although people shop my store, what they usually remember is my account ID so I just let it be.
