The 2 best days I ever had selling on eBay, both led to the following day some super scam artist treating me like a dog. Both wanting free stuff. Both speaking like all they know how to say is, "how mad they are." After 25 messages from this person over a Brittany Spears CD I delivered before it was to be even shipped out yet. I came to the conclusion this is some fraud and said I was going to contact the Police because the person was super crazy. They vanish. Never heard from them again as soon as I mention contacting the police because of how suspicious they were acting toward me.
Either someone has it out for me, and is keeping a very close eye on me. Or eBay has Algorithms and Bots designed to shake us down. Possibly eBay employees using their access to the system to shut down competition. It definitely seemed like a few years back only Californians were allowed to get away with selling CBD Oil. I think eBay Employees are possibly doing very shady things. This guy called IP Shark LLC keeps stalking me about selling unverified Panoxyl items. He asks for receipts, invoices, and all types of stuff to verify I am not selling counterfeit products. He gives me 5 days to give him this info. or he will escalate it to EBAY. I ask for an ID or proof he works as an agent on behalf of Panoxyl. He disappears. Leaves no messages. Clearly some kind of fraud. I am getting sick of this sabotage artist and extortion artist.

the cd buyer sounds like someone (aggressively) fishing for a refund; the cbd harasser sounds like a competitor messing with you; the rogue eBay employees part sounds like switching to decaf might be a good idea.

Are you serious you might want to totally regroup a rogue ebay employee. You might be lucky that ebay is letting you sell anything. Take a break and move on.

I give a buyer one maybe two (if they are good ones) questions. Then I block them. No more problems.

Just remember, that person bought a Brittany Spears CD in 2021. Probably not the sharpest knife in the drawer 😂

It's 'Britney'.

Everything Britney Spears listed here on eBay is going to see a short temporary spike in sales due to the new Spears documentary released earlier this month titled "Framing Britney".

I had to read that twice. I thought it read "Farming".

A lot of companies do that. Volusion was the worst I've ever witnessed. Once the biggest e-commerce solutions provider (since replaced by Shopify and Big Commerce because Volusion was/is a criminal enterprise without even the façade of a legitimate business). They in conjunction with PayPal scammed me out of $60,000 using what at the time was a sophisticated chargeback fraud scheme/conspiracy. Ebay may or may not be directly involved as an active participant, but they're most certainly guilty of enabling and even aiding and abetting criminal behavior by always siding with the buyer in a dispute regardless of facts, policies or any other relevant information.
The only exception is the Enterprise Ebay Store sellers. They can get away with murder. WorldCurrencyandCoin blatantly stole $160 from me, bragged about it in the resolution center and eBay reps chuckled right along with him.

There is no competition for Ebay as Ebay sell nothing. I doubt a Brittany Spears CD would attract a scam artist. It sounds like you may be selling a fake and the person is upset ? Just ignore but at the same time if it is fake Ebay may pull it.

I just got a message from this same company yesterday, for an item I have for sale that is 100% authentic. They gave me 5 days to produce receipts or invoices. Its one item and its a 2 pack of plastic containers of all things! I wrote back to them but they did not respond. I looked up their ebay ID and it looks like they just joined ebay and have 0 feedbacks. Thanks for posting your information, as I wasnt sure if this was a scam or not.

The fact that @luckythewinner couldn't spell Britney Spears correctly speaks volumes ... in a GOOD way! 😉
