Competetor leaving negative feedbacks ....

So this buyer, who I identified as a competitor, bought 2 items which I politely canceled and did not ship. Processed a refund and as expected, he left negative feedbacks on both.

Following which he orders 2 more items from his account and 2 from his wife's account ( same address ).

I spoke to the Ebay customer service and they have forwarded this to the online defect team to deal with.

I did "Block" him when he purchased the initial 2 but wonder how he could purchase more?

What is the alternate course of action that needs to be taken as this buyer is based in Canada?

If it doesn't hurt your business, you can add Canada to your exclusion list, at least temporarily.

Re: Competetor leaving negative feedbacks ....

Why did you cancel the orders?  Are you saying you did so becaus they buyer is a competitor?  What differences does that make?   What did the buyer do wrong?  Cancelling is pretty much designed to get a neg, and most especially so if the buyer is actually a competitor.  I am confused by your actions.

Did you expect positives for cancelling 2 orders?

If they paid, why did you cancel the orders?

Have a great day.

If you canceled the 2 orders, then the two negatives you received were entirely deserved.

Those the feedbacks say ti took you over 20 days to cancel and refund. Is that really true?

Re: Competetor leaving negative feedbacks ....

If your competitor paid for those items, the neg FB is the least of your issues - you
"earned" two defects on your seller ratings.

A competitors money spends the same as all others.

Eww, you cancelled a buyer that paid, because you refuse creatures that are competitors??? WOW!

Kinda like a MickeyD's employee walking across the street on a lunch break to Wendy's, and then was REFUSED service, because he or she works for the competitor. Haha!

Your NEGATIVE FBs are JUSTIFIED and then some!!

That picture was just on the news.  The little girl (now 21) received $430,000 for selling the NFT of her MEME and she will get 10% of future sales.

Re: Competetor leaving negative feedbacks ....

The person bought. Paid. You cancelled for no good reason.

I'd have negged you too.

IF you'd gone through the deal and gotten a negative THEN you could have made the competitor claim. Now, you should just admit you messed up, apologize to the buyer, send them the items for free and beg for feedback removal.
