Ok, I get it eBay! My Counter Offer was accepted! 4 days now over and over and over and over! Every time I open eBay, or switch to a different page or even look at my screen I get yet another “ Your Counter Offer was accepted!

I assume you can click the "x" to close the window -or- click on "ok" to make the reminder go away -or- "skip" or "later" or something. Since I don't get this message i'm just assuming so please correct me if i'm wrong.

Clicking the X will make it disappear for 5 to 10 seconds, clicking inside the box will take you to the seller hub. No other choices.

Spamming would be if I posted message after message. I posted 1 message which was meant to be humorous. Nobody forced you to read it AND you had the option of simply ignoring it.

eBay doesn’t offer such an option. We’re forced to look at the pop-up every 10 seconds. It’s annoying and says a lot about eBay’s crack tech team.

Whatever you do, don't counteroffer, accept the offer, it seems to be happening on counteroffers that are accepted by buyers, no other transactions do that.

Yes, one click. But it pops up every 10 seconds! So it’s one click every 10 seconds! The point isn’t that it’s not easy to remove with a click. The point is that it is RELENTLESS!

BTW-Did you miss that the post was supposed to be humorous and simply a biting reminder of the superlative work that eBay’s Tech Team is capable of (or incapable of)? Seems like they could do better considering their revenue.

Clicking on the “x” closes the pop up. The problem is that it repeats every 10 seconds or any time you change pages, click on a listing or perform any other task on an eBay page. EVERY 10 SECONDS!

Unfortunately assumptions are simply that, assumptions not facts.

For the last few weeks "counter offers" got no notice whatsoever. People were complaining that they simply disappeared. Buyers were not notified their counter offers were accepted by a seller, and sellers that countered a buyer's offer, were sending them as an IPR transaction.

So I guess eBay is making up for not informing anybody about anything regarding counter offers by now providing incessant notifications.
