Hello! Our store is doing well and we are interested in expanding but we have noticed listings disappearing and changing. Is there a good software that someone can recommend which will allow us to build and store our listings offline so they can be synced with eBay? Too much work going into the photos and listings to have them poof. I sincerely appreciate any suggestions..

Six bit right now is a popular alternative to the old Turbo Lister.

Thank you for your response. SIxbit has been mentioned much in what I have read. I'm just trying to see how others have overcome this challenge so I don't have to "reinvent the wheel". I'm sure I am not the only seller of collectibles that have run into these issues. I am tempted to take my business to other eCommerce platforms but the "grass is always greener on the other side."
The benefits of a program that allows me to host my listings offline could also enable other platforms but I am just unsure which would work best for fairly low volume somewhat unique collectibles.

You could always use something like 'MyDatabase' to set up and keep the information and then cut'n'paste the info into the listing form. It is easily configured and contains a lot of other features. For a small inventory - or large - it is quite useful for keeping all your information, and a multitude of other uses, handy on your computer. I've used it for at least 10 years.

I am a sixbit user and have been for years.
In sixbit, you build your future listings in a database. You can do this with the database connected to the internet or not connected (when I started I was on broadband, which is not unlimited so being off line was important to me). The database sits on your computer. An item (with all it's pictures and description) stays in the database until YOU delete it. When you are ready to list in eBay, you select the items from a grid, specify auction / fixed price (GTC or for a specific length) and list on eBay. Your database does not change.
Oddly, I have always had the number of listings I say there are and the numbers eBay says are there be the same. I have not had any 'drop off'. I also have not had any 'change' but that might be because I am doing free shipping (and that's eBay's favorite).
As far as one-of-a-kind items, sixbit handles them well. Each item is a separate line item in the data base. Yet, you can duplicate a listing if you only need to change color or size. We tend to see each item as an individual, yet there are common things to call items -- color - height/width - condition - maker (known/unknown)- etc -- that can be used in creation templates.
Again, the item stays in your database until you delete it. I took a break from eBay and during that time picture sizes changed dramatically. I still have about 50 items left to rephotograph - they are there in the database, in a folder and their presence is always there, nagging me to get them listed!

Thanks for the details!!! I truly appreciate it. Looks like sixbit is the way to go. Can Sixbit audit EBay and find discrepancies between the two? This has been a HUGE problem for me and I just took for granted that my listings would be active for loner than six months! A lot of my listings are seasonal.
