So, just like many sellers - I sold an item a week ago - sent it out same day as it was a decently high value item.
Am used to the funds hold but not the 21 days no matter what for high risk transactions.
Due to that - you can’t get me off eBay fast enough as that just proves how incompetent eBay is and how unfairly they treat their sellers.
Positive feedback was left by the buyer already and eBay refuses to budge. This is no longer about protection, but about their ability to wield power whenever they feel. Transaction is complete, both parties satisfied and they still won’t release the funds. What a scam.
So, my question is: If I call them and ask them to close my account, are they legally obligated to comply and release those funds?
Trust me, I am more than happy to leave them and never look back. Enough is enough.
