Cannot get any help from ebay

Can someone help me, i am out over 6 thousand dollars because ebay sided with a buyer in a dispute where ebay decided to refund $3500 regardless of the facts of the case where buyer was asking for a partial shipping damage credit, now after 2 months buyer still has my item which he does not intend to return as he is making good money with it and never planned on returning in first place, paypal wants $3500 from me and gave me an ebay phone number which is out of service, ebay will not respond to any of my messages for help using the ebay messaging system on the site, i could not be in a worse position, i have enough money problems with COVID,  what do i do?

Are you saying the "buyer" opened a eBay case and a PP case? 

Or do you mean the $3500.00 for PP is to cover the eBay dispute?

OOOOOH I KNOW ALL ABOUT BEING OUT MONEY  IVE LOST 2 ENGINES 8,000. JUST LOST SOME WHEEL FLARES FOR 500 AND SOME STRUTS FOR 575. EBAY HASNT DONE NOTHING ABOUT ANY OF IT 

YESTURDAY  I GOT HUNG UP ON 4 TIME ONCE BY A SUPERVISER  NO SELLERS PROTEC. WHAT SO EVER

If the buyer filed an INAD, you should have accepted the return and paid return shipping if you wanted the item back before refunding.

If you don't accept the return or refund the buyer, Ebay can refund the buyer for you and let them keep the item.

You say that eBay "sided with the buyer". 

This tells me that after the buyer filed a dispute with eBay, you did not immediately go into the resolution center and respond the dispute by choosing "return for refund".

If you did not do that, unfortunately you are at eBay's mercy.

Wow - that is a lot of coin (no pun intended) on this Crypto Miner deal.  If it sold for $3500, I am confused on the $6k loss?

So it arrived damaged - did you file a claim with whoever you used to ship it?  Did you agree to a partial refund to the Buyer - what was the discussion there?  Are you saying you gave him a partial refund due to damage AND e-Bay gave him $3500 for his purchase refund?  (sorry, just trying to understand the facts, etc)

If you lost the dispute with e-Bay, did you or can you Appeal (i.e.  does it give you an option to Appeal their decision?)  

 You can have e-Bay call you - Seller help page at the very bottom there is an option for them to call you to discuss a sale/return, etc.  I don't know of a phone number for you to call them.

(Seller help in far right corner, then click at bottom of list on need more help - bottom of next screen usually has a box to click for them to call you - however today, big yellow area saying wait times too long - keep trying though)

I dont know how you all can deal with such a horrible company.  There is zero seller protection and zero seller rights.  The buyer never wanted to return my item, made up stories about several different parts breaking after receipt even though he said everything great at first because he had buyer remorse for using buy now price, when i had videotaped everything working day of shipping, then he refused to let fedex in 3x to see the item about a damage claim he made me start, then he took the full refund from ebay and stopped answering my messages about returning the item.  He scammed me and ebay and they are unwilling to help me.  They refuse to admit they prematurely and wrongly refunded him the money or put a negative balance on his account like they did on mine within days.  I have been emailing and attempting to call ebay since february and zero help.  Im going to get this all over the news and show what a crooked company ebay is, all about profit and screwing customers that keep it running and making money.  Rip people off in a pandemic, great business move ebay.

I truly am sorry this unfolded for you as it did.  Learned recently also how dishonest people can be.

No advice for you.  Might be an expensive transaction lesson.  Cannot view this transaction in your solds - was the $3500 the full amount of the sale or a partial credit?
