A buyer gave me the wrong mailing address and has given me a new one, so ebay suggests canceling the order. When I go to cancel, it seems I'll be charged for the shipping label (which was billed twice??)??? ebay is asking for a credit card to charge prior to me being able to cancel. Obviously, I don't want to cancel and be charged for shipping I didn't use....let alone 2x the shipping charge. Any advice?
Thanks

That advice was correct, you need to cancel the order for reason-- issue with buyer's address. That will have no impact on your account. Shipping labels are separate. You can cancel any unused label by going to the order page and selecting cancel this label. That is handled differently and is not an immediate refund. It can take up to 2 weeks, usually less, and comes from USPS but will hit your eBay account. Best of luck to you....

Did you already print a shipping label? If so, you can request a cancellation of that label.
What makes you think that you got charged twice for the label?
Do you have enough available funds to do the cancellation refund? If not, that might be why they are asking for a credit card.

there are two parts to this equation
not sure if you made a label but if you did you need to just cancel it
also you need to cancel the order. if you need to supply a credit card than thats what you need to do
ebay is not going to give up 30 cents either and they have gone into my bank for it before
you now know the correct procedure and what to do when a buyer goofs the address
this is the way it works and next time it will be the same way but you may have extra money in your account then. give yourself credit for doing things the proper way

I can't cancel the shipping because I had already printed it out. Buyer says doesn't think USPS won't ship to his home, so gave me PO Box. Has this happened to you all? Can I check with Post Office to see if that address is somewhere they'll ship?

This whole scenario seems a bit off, but not uncommon for what many of us see here on this forum. When alleged buyers tell you to ship to another address because of this or that, it could very well be a scam attempt. They'll file an INR and because you shipped to the address that's not on the invoice, they will get to keep your $300 bat and they'll get their money back too. Cancel stating problem with buyers address. Do it today. I would also block this person from further bidding on that expensive bat as well.
Good luck and be careful

I already printed one, but just one. The order page had two tracking labels listed and the fee was 2x the shipping cost. Wont let me cancel either one.

@adtani_0 It makes no difference if you printed the label out, it only matters if the label was used by being scanned at the post office. That is how they determine if the label was "used" or not. Yes, you can cancel a printed label, I've had to do it multiple times and every time I have been refunded in total.
It is against policy for a seller to change an address, that is why you were advised to simply cancel the transaction. Buyer can then change their address as they wish and can purchase from you a second time- with corrected address. That is how the system is set up to work. Just follow the policies and you will be fine, but if you don't follow policy then you will lose. Best of luck to you....

You CAN void the label. Seller Hub/Orders/Shipping labels... find the order and use the drop-down menu to the left to 'Void label'.
You will need to cancel the order, citing 'Problems with buyer's address' and relist it for your buyer to repurchase, using the correct address at checkout... a PO box is okay.
My guess is that they want a CC attached to cover the $.30 Transaction Fee.
